Evan's Baptism

Evan was baptised on May 30, 2010 at Lakeside United Methodist Church. Evan did very well. He did cry during the actual baptism, but he quickly recovered. He had many loving family members in attendance. He spent most of church smiling and laughing at all the familar faces in the pews behind him. Evan had friends and family come from all over to see his baptism. Grandpa Jack, Grandma Amy, and Aunt Rachel came from Aiken, SC. Nana (Ann) traveled from Washington DC, and Vijay traveled from Austin, TX. Aunt Liz and Uncle Tom came from Montgomery, AL. Aunt Jana and Uncle John visited us from Harrison, AR. Meme, Grandpa Reagan, Uncle Stan, Aunt Debra, Ava, Spencer, and Oliver were present. Lois, Evan's wonderful caregiver, and her daughter came over from Greenville. She "wouldn't miss it for the world". Bea Bea, Jennifer Vaughn, and Brad Mayfield also came to see Evan that day. I don't think I could have put everything together without the help of our wonderful family.
Getting a little nervous.
"I am very unsure about this."
"What are you doing?!"
"It's not bathtime!!!"
"This man is crazy. Help!"
"Where's Mom, Need Mom."
"This is better, but I'm still upset about all of this."
Total recovery.
"Yawn.... It's my naptime"
Loving the attention.

Tuckered out.
We took these pictures a few weeks later. I realized
that I didn't have too many pictures of him in his gown.
Geoff was kind enough to help me dress him up all over again
and take these pictures.
