Planting Beans!

This was Evan's first time helping Grandpa Reagan plant some beans! Geoff, Evan, and I spent Saturday afternoon with Meme and Reagan in the bean field. It was a little warm out, but Evan had a great time.
Evan tries to help out however he can.
Nothing wrong with a little ChrisAir advertising.
Evan is working hard...well, he's playing in the truck with Meme.
Whose little tootsies?!
Tuckered out. Farming is hard work.
Evan was amazed at the big tractor.
Evan was about tired of farming at this point.
This was the best picture I could find with him in front of the tractor.
We all slept well that night.

Easter

Evan's first Easter weekend was a blast. On Saturday, we went to the Meyer's Easter Egg Hunt. Evan didn't do much hunting for eggs, but he enjoyed watching the others. We also met the Easter bunny! On Sunday, we went to church. Evan was perfect throughout the service. He just played and watched and listened. I believe that was the last service we have made it all the way through! After church we went to Meme and Reagan's for a wonderful dinner and some time with family.
Ready, Set, Go!
Evan was just taking it all in.
Evan ignored the Easter Bunny mostly.
Maybe next year we will be more interested.

Swihart Weekend

Well here it is....all four Swihart men together. There are 92 years separating all of us. Evan's great grandpa and grandpa made a special trip to Lake Village to make it happen.

6 months

We can't believe Evan is 6 months old. He's still a good sleeper. He loves most of the new foods we give him. I think his favorite is green beans, but he will eat anything we give him. We are getting to spend more time outside, now that the weather is getting nicer. The time is flying by!

After a bath all wrapped up in his bear towel

"cough, cough"
One of Evan's favorite attention-getters. "See, it worked"
Evan's favorite toy for four days.

His shirt says "Pimpin' ain't easy"
Thanks Liz.
Lovin' some green beans.
All smiles
I'm trying to let myself trust Barley around Evan...
She means well. She is just so big and clumsy!
Mornings with Daddy, while Mom sleeps in
Watching the stock market
"Put your money in Gerber, Dad...It's good"
Playing in his crib
Ready for a stroll in his "old man hat"
My handsome boys.
Laughing at our reflections.
We still love bathtime.
Enjoying the nice weather.
For those of you who still aren't sure who Evan looks like...
I think this picture is hilarious.
I found him all crazy in his crib after a nap.
I promise I didn't lay him down this way.
