It's been a busy few months since our last post. Evan doesn't like to eat baby food any more, he wants mainly grown up food. Gerber food is greeting with a loud "uh-uh" and flailing arms. He also finds himself too busy to eat sometimes, but when he takes the time eat, he can really pack it in. He loves pizza, blue berries, "cookies", goldfish (Pepperidge Farm, not the slimy kind), applesauce, grilled chicken, anything from La Terazza, etc. He's still not walking on his own, but he loves running all over the house with his push toys (the lion, alligator, or dragon) or with the help of one of us. We just moved into a new house, which has a long hallway that is perfect for driving trucks, throwing balls, and practicing walking. Evan also loves to chase the dog and cat. Moose finally got fed up and left for a few days (he is back now). Evan still sleeps great, with usually two naps in the day and full night from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. I know, we are very lucky parents.
Here are some pictures from the last few months.
Here we are playing at a park in Little Rock trying to unwind from Evan's second haircut. It did not go as smoothly as the first one. We played here and waited for Aunt Rachel's flight to arrive.
Rachel testing out the planes at the airport.
Rachel tried a little gambling for the first time.
Playing at Fall Fest.
Rachel really wanted to get a good picture of herself and Evan, however Evan had other plans.

And....Success! Photo attempt #3.
Making the most of a long car trip!
We went to Aiken, South Carolina to visit Grandpa and Grandma Swihart in October. Evan was a good little traveler. Regardless it was a very long car trip! We had a wonderful time relaxing, going to see the horses at Steeple Chase, eating good food, and going trick or treating!
We stopped at many rest areas to stretch are legs and burn some energy.
Enjoying steeplechase with Grandpa, Grandma, Mom and Dad.
Evan loved cheering for the horses.
Moooo!
I didn't get a picture of him in his hat,
but he made a mighty cute cow.
Evan was a bit skeptical of the other backseat passenger.
Here are some more pics of the past few months.
